The Passiflorahoeve is a butterfly garden in Harskamp, The Netherlands. Last week I went there and of course took some photos.
Every year there are several swallow nests atbmy mother's house. One of them fell off this year, but this one is fine. The parents are kept busy by the young ones inside.
The rest of the photos from my day at the zoo in Emmen.
This bear was looking at the people looking at him.
If you had a million Shakespeares, could they write like a monkey?
After a long time not posting anything I have gone through my archives the last couple of days. I'll be posting a lot of photos the next couple of days to catch up.
Early last year I spend a day in the zoo in Emmen. By now the zoo has moved to a different location in Emmen and everything had changed. I haven't visited the new location yet, but I hope they have a similar butterfly garden as the old location.
These are the last pictures from my vacation to Iceland from a few weeks ago. They have nothing in common other than they're from my vacation to Iceland from a few weeks ago.
No vacation to Iceland is complete without a visit to the Blue Lagoon, the most famous of all the geothermal spa's in the country. It is located in the middle of a lava field in the south west of Iceland. The water is an azure blue because of the minerals in it. It's on average about 40 degrees C and very nice to relax in.
One of the most popular day tours in Iceland is the Golden Circle. It's a tour covering a lot of attractions, including national park Þingvellir, a huge waterfall called Gullfoss and geysers, including the original Geysir (which is inactive now).
The National Museum of Iceland has a nice collection on the history of Iceland. I spend hours walking around there during my vacation to Iceland.
