After two weeks of not posting in the 52frames challenge because I was moving, I finally had time to take a photo again today. I moved to a temporary house, which has this pond next to it.
This week's 52Frames challange was "Shot With a Phone". I used my phone, tablet and camera :)
When I wanted to go to bed this weekend, something was in the way.
This week's 52frames challenge was Life. I had a hard time thinking of something to shoot. Most of the examples were of lifestyle, family, street photography, but I didn't really have time to go out and shoot anything like that. So I took a broader interpretation of the theme and shot some tomatoes with googly eyes :)
I spend a day shooting beautiful old doors in centuries old buildings in Groningen, but as I was walking to my car to go back home I walked past these doors. They're ugly, dirty, simple doors in a boring building across the road from a bus stop, but something about them spoke to me, so I took the picture and I liked it better than the characteristic, old doors. The second photo is the best of the other doors I shot.
My second entry to the 53Frames weekly challenge. As I said in my last post, I used smoke. I wanted a straight trail of smoke and finally got it right with incense. Then I inverted the colors of the image and placed it next to the original.
I thought I'd try my hand at photographing smoke as part of this week's 52Frames challenge. I used a candle, but that didn't exactly give me the smoke I wanted for the challenge. I do like the photo, just not for the challenge. So I'm just posting this randomly.
My first 52Frames challenge. I decided to to join 52Frames earlier this week and I'm going to try to do the challenge every week. You're only allowed to submit one, which is the first one here, but I made a few more.
I still had a couple of roses left from my last random word challenge, so I though I'd take some more photos of them. This time without the fire.
