I really enjoyed Castlefest two weeks ago and I will be going again next year. I took almost 500 pictures, but the best ones are already on this site now. To prove that Castlefest is actually a music festival, here are a couple of photos of musicians who played there. There were a lot of good band, none of which I knew before I decided to go to Castlefest. I also have no idea which bands the people in the photos belong to. I just know I liked most of the music and I should probably buy some of their albums, if I can figure out which ones I liked the most.

There were a lot of couples and whole families at Castlefest. Some were even dressed in style, like this couple dressed as nobleman and -woman. The man seemed to be more comfortable with his picture being taken. The woman actually looks mad in one of the photos, though I don't remember her being mad. I think it was just a transitional expression or something. Maybe just before laughing.

I told you there were men at Castlefest and here are the photos to prove it. It kind of surprised me the men/woman ratio was about 50/50 (except on Saturday when there were a lot more photographers). The reason why I have so much more photos of women than men is because the women dressed so much better (on average). Anyway, here are some pictures of some men at Castlefest, from pipe smoking man to angel to guy sticking his finger in the air.

As I said in an earlier post, Castlefest is a music festival and there were people dancing. They were mostly woman and the guys that were dancing didn't look as good so again only pictures of ladies. I promise I'll have some photos with men on them as well in the next couple of days. Honestly, there were men there. See, you can see them in the background.

Oh... and I'm one! (a man I mean)

There were a lot of girls with beautiful costumes and most of them were more than happy to pose for the cameras. What started with one photographer usually ended up being a line of photographers as other joined to shoot the pretty lady. As you can see I also partook in the bounty.

No, it's not what you think it is. She was just dancing with them. And they weren't those kind of balls. And... maybe I should have used a different title. Anyway...

Castlefest is actually a music festival, so there was music and people were dancing. This girl was dancing while balancing two balls on her hands and arms. She was really good at it. She didn't drop them once and it looked very good.

Not far from the scary girl with blood dripping from her mouth in the previous post there were a couple of steampunk models. I saw them a couple of times and every time they were completely in character, including the superior English smugness, even when playing a relaxing game of cards.

There I was, walking along at Castlefest, when I suddenly heard someone say: "Oh, you've got blood on it." As I looked I saw a photographer wiping a reflection screen clean. Mostly hidden begin the photographer I saw a girl handcuffed to window bars, covered in blood. Now, there are a lot of weird things that are normal at Castlefest, but this wasn't one of them. So of course I had to take a look.

It turned out the girl was a model and voluntarily dressed like a psychopathic killer... ehm......

Last weekend at Castlefest there were a lot of beautifully dressed people, many of which I took photos of. I will be posting some of those photos in the next couple of weeks as I select and edit them. This is the first batch, consisting of photos of two models who were kind enough to pose for me.

The first model is a beautiful lady with blue hair, dressed in a blue outfit. The second model is a equally beautiful lady with purple hair, dressed in a purple outfit. Hence the title "Blue and purple...
